Homemade: Brown Sugar Icecream Cookies AKA Sandwiches
Let me just say that these did not last long. Once I froze them and put them in the freezer for easy access. They were gone! I will surely keep making these and come up with my own cookie mix because these are very sweet and not good on the waistline.
Note:
My cookies only needed 8-9 minutes, plus I wanted them soft. The cookies spread so only cook six at a time.

Taco Soup
This is a favorite around my home and church. There are basically never any leftovers. It is very healthy and great to use for large feedings especially since it is getting cold. You can serve over tortilla chips or with corn muffins/bread.
Total Cook/Prep Time 20-30 minutes
Yields 10-15 servings
Total Cook/Prep Time 20-30 minutes
Ingredients:
2 cans whole corn (drained)
3 varieties of beans (I use Great Northern, Pinto, Black or Kidney drained)
2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheese
1 pk Taco Mix
1 pk Ranch Dry Salad Mix
2 cups Sour Cream
2 cans Rotel Tomatoes with green peppers
1lb. ground turkey or chicken
Can Opener
Large Pot
Frying Pan
Wooden Spoon
Directions:
Put your meat on to brown. Go ahead and open the corn and beans to drain. Mix your beans, corn, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese, taco mix and ranch mix in your pot on low and stir every few minutes. You basically just want to heat and allow cheese to melt. Once your meat is done drain and add to your pot. Enjoy!
Note: The meat is optional and I have also made the soup with only two kinds of beans. These are the same basic ingredients you use to make tacos.

Homemade: Yardley Liquid Hand Soap
When I went to Walgreens to pick up my newspapers I saw they had Yardley bar soap for $0.69 each. I bought the Oatmeal & Almond which smells wonderful. Since making the liquid soap here with Ivory I made this batch the same way and ended up with two batches. Once I shredded the entire bar I ended up two packed cups which made 160 oz. all for $0.69. After using the soap your hand feel like you have used lotion. I did make each batch seperate and the consistency is just right. Yardley is also Paraban Free & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Free.

Homemade: Liquid Hand Soap
This will be the quickest 5 minutes and yes you read it right five minutes of your time.
When I was at Whole Foods there bar soap is $0.69 regularly priced. Most weeks the drug stores will have single bars on sale also. One to name is Yardley's bar soap at Walgreen's or Dollar General for $0.70 or less with a sale.

Our Food: Part 2
So in part one I talked about Genetically Modified foods and milk. This has been such an eye opener and I pray you have taken time to check items in your home. Another area that I noticed also that has been Genetically Modified was our grains. More than 50 % of the U.S. grain is Genetically Modified.
